I have a 1954 1434 similar to yours and was wondering what type of wheels you’re running.
From the pictures it seems like the original wheels..
I still have the original on mine, they are in OK condition, but I am afraid they are the dangerous split rims that I read about on forums.
I was looking for modern replacement wheels.. Just wondering if you found something that fits without mods.
I run the original wheels as well. They are split rims, yes. However there are different types of split rims, and the ones on mine are not the “widow makers”. http://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/wheels/
